That was a really good interview about Fedor , I have been watching him for a while , but this really let you into his world , it really let you know who he really is , very well put together

Thx a bunch for uploading, this is most interesting. There`s too little candid footage of Fedor training tough, and way too many cuts. But I guess its purpose is to make Fedor more well-known in the US and crank up the hype before he fights Arlovski.

I think it must be his humility, spiritual focus and commitment to God that makes him so successful… those seem to be the things missing from the rest of the MMA fighters. Definitely the kind of guy we need as role models.

I was prejudice at first, ’cause he is Russian, I didnt care for him at all n wanted to see him get beat so bad!! I have now changed my ways n he has become my idol! It used to b Randy Couture n Chuck Liddell, but this guy Fedor is a very special human being, both as a fighter n as a person. I’ve learned to b a loving person n love n respect all kinds of cultures. Fedor inspires me.

Great videos. I have not seen a fighter like Fedor. The man has aggression that cant be matched by any fighter I know. Hes a lion in the ring, a shark with blood in the water…he fights you like you just killed his entire family. He’s at the top of the food chain…one of those rare athletes where if he does get beat, it was merely an off day, maybe luck. At his best, nobody will beat him, unless he fights past his prime. Oh, and dana white is a jack ass for opening that mouth of his.

There is some one who can beat Fedor. He is one walking around at malls, hiking, surfing, or working a normal job. He is the one spending time with family. There are a few who can, 1 in a thousand. Randy Couture said that there are no holes in Fedor’s game, I see that there are many and none. That is where he is strong. He was slammed by K.R., fought on the bottom with Coleman, and cut by Kohsaka. He fought Mark Hunt, threw Cro Cop around. All that weakness you see, he landed on top easily. Nogueira who is one of the best did not find answers to Fedor. Even when they get there, they will feel his strength. You say there are no holes to his game, I say that that is where he is weak and strong. Fighting Fedor, is like fighting Dan Henderson in Pride. Some one can beat Fedor. That person is 6 3′ 265.

In a rematch between Fedor and Arlovski…based on the first fight…was not enough to tell. I am surprised that Arlovski was able to…lets say…neutralize Fedor’s fight style for the time. Stand up wise, Arlovski was impressive against Fedor. If I had to let you know, based on the first fight, with the one punch that Arlovski lost to, ill go Fedor. Tim Sylvia should get a chance for a rematch with Fedor being that Tim is still one of the top heavyweights in MMA and that their first fight ended so quick. But the result may not be any different. It will be exciting and somewat nervous to watch Randy fight Fedor. There are many many match ups that should happen. Like an NBA dream team, the Pro Bowl, or the all star game. The Ultimate Ultimate. The Battle in the Bayou.

excellent comment ! although you are wrong about sambo….fedor is widely regarded as the best sambo practitioner in the world….repeatedly winning world championship with only one loss . and i do believe that andy couture is far past being a credible threat to fedor…..when they sparred in vegas randy couldnt get out from under fedor !

this is for mike ; you are truly ignorant when it comes to MMA ! fedor has fought top ten ranked fighters 90% of his career …he fought and beat the HW champ in his 3rd fight in pride (nogueira-big nog) and that was in nogueira’s prime…….he didnt just beat him……he dominated and broke him ! fedor fights top tens and u cant compare shamrock because shamrock is a). light heavyweight (not HW like fedor) b). shamrock is 47 (not 33 like fedor) c). fedor is 30-0-1 …..shamrock was never in that league . but , make no mistake chump ken shamrock is hall of fame and has done much for the sport plus back in his prime Ken was a bad MF ! …….You obviously have norespect for the sport and its pioneers .

I just have to say thank you for posting this. I wasn’t able to watch it on tv, but it was an great program. Fedor is an amazing fighter as we all know but so little is ever said about him other than just that. I’m glad we were finally able to learn/see a bit more of him outside the cage.

Chuck got over 30 million for 1 year and 3 fights. He lost 2 of thosee fights, but UFC covered their losses and then some. If Dana White really wants Fedor, the UFC will put up the money and allow Fedor to still fight in his tournaments (that is if the UFC really wants Fedor to come over and show them what the rest of us already know).

@Mike: XD man the Pride fighters do better in the UFC then UFC fighters ever did in Pride every UFC that went to Pride got his ass kicked but on the other hand alot of Pride fighters did and are doing really well in the UFC n heres a few Anderson Silva, Rampage Jackson, Dan Henderson and Minotaro is doing good too most of the UFC’s best fighters are from Pride and Anderson Silva actally lost a few times in Pride n went undefeated in the UFC but my point is Pride was REAL MMA it was closest to a real down n dirty street fight cuz they had less rules and come on u dont see stomped n soccer kicked in the face in the UFC

I love Fedor been watching him since 2002 and in Pride. Fedor does not have to come to UFC and prove himself he has already proven himself in Pride and doing it in Affliction if them UFC fighters want to fight Fedor have them come to Affliction….Like Tim Sylvia and Arlovski if you want the best come see the best Fedor is the Best and if you want fight him go to his home turf cause he is the Champion and he has proven it by beating ex UFC champions whos next Randy or Brock if they are not afraid they should go fight him in Affliction

Well affliction is done and gone…..I had the preiviledge of seeing “day of reckoning” live and it was GREAT !!!
And dude Arlovski AND Sylvia were both ranked in the top 10 at the time of their losses to Fedor !! Matter of fact , speaking of “has beens”……Randy has lost more than Arlovski in the past 5 years…..I love Randy BUT……he’s about done . And when Fedor and Randy did their famous “sparring” session it was randy who found himself continually on his back under Fedor !
Fedor 30-1-0……brock 3-1-0…….Barnett would kill Brock , C’mon……let’s look at Brocks “has been” list….Randy , Mir …also Fedor has signed to fight top ten fighters his last 3 fights . The guy has fought nothing but cans & ex UFC champs on their way out the game. I used to believe the hype too… I still want to see him fight, BUT… he’s a fucking coward. He’s ducked top level competition since 2005, when he beat CRO COP by decision. He wouldn’t even give CRO COP a re-match after CRO COP had won the PrideFC open weight class grand prix! Fedor claims to want to fight the best, yet has ONLY fought 2 of the best in his whole career! CRO COP & BIG NOG. Thats IT. He seems to forget that without the fans he’s nothing, and 2005 is a LOOOONG time ago now, and since 2005 Fedor hasn’t done a god damn thing for his ‘fans’ or mma fans in general. Tim sylvia (ufc champ) Antonio Nogueira …all ramked top ten at fight time and that makes 9 times fedor stepped into the ring with top ten fighters and won , not to mention tough fuckers like mark hunt , gary goodridge , babalu , TK , Ricardo Arona , Semmy schilt , Russian Sambo champ for years and Sambo and russian fighters are no fucking joke !

Write all the book long posts you want, the list of cans he’s fought is disgusting. I lived in Osaka & Tokyo from 2000 – 03, I know PrideFC quite well. Fraudor Emillyvanillyenko is an over hyped can crusher…. more MMA vets & respected MMA figures have called him that. And if Don Frye calls him a can crusher, you can bet your first born child it’s fucking true!

…. then Fedor is spitting in the fans faces, EVERY fighter’s face who would kill for a shot at even a try out with the UFC, EVERY UFC roster fighter who fights tooth n’ nail for that roster spot’s faces, EVERY MMA pioneer who fought 3-4 times a night to make 1/8 of what the UFC is offering Fedor for just one fight to get this sport up and running’s faces, the UFC brass’ faces, & even his own Legacy’s face!!!

If he don’t sign the UFC contract this time I’m done with him. Me and about 85% of the hardcore fan base will say fuck’em!

The UFC is scared…that’s why they will only deal with Fedor if he commits to them 100%. Dana White knows Fedor will walk through anyone in the UFC, and then leave…The UFC would look weak.. that’s why Fedor will not fight in the UFC.
